DICOPO, MediaLaws and DigiCon are pleased to announce the upcoming Digital Constitutionalism Roundtable, entitled “Human Oversight: Who, What and How”, which will take place online on Monday, 16 November 2026, at 5:00 p.m. CET.
The roundtable will address the role of human oversight in the governance of artificial intelligence, focusing on the key questions of who should exercise oversight, what it should entail, and how it should be implemented. The discussion will bring together different perspectives on the challenges of ensuring meaningful human involvement in AI-related decision-making.
The event will be chaired by Prof. Oreste Pollicino (Bocconi University) and will feature contributions from:
- Ilaria Penco, Lead AI Ethics & Policy;
- Irina Carnat, Sant’Anna University;
- Luca Nannini, Privacy Network;
- Abdullah Elbi, KU Leuven Centre for IT & IP Law.
