MediaLaws is pleased to share the call for papers for the “International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Law” (ICAIL 2027), which will take place in Vienna from the 5th to the 9th of July 2027.
Organised under the auspices of the International Association for Artificial Intelligence and Law (IAAIL), ICAIL 2027 welcomes original research on a broad range of topics, including legal reasoning and computational legal theory, legal NLP and generative AI, legal technologies, AI governance and compliance engineering, algorithmic accountability, access to justice, smart contracts, and e-government.
The conference will particularly encourage contributions that offer scholarly elaborations on legal concepts and processes framed in a computational or technical context.
Paper submission deadline: 28 January 2027. Notification of acceptance: 19 April 2027.
