UK Digital Regulation Cooperation Forum responds to DCMS on the future of the digital regulatory landscape

On 4 May 2021, the UK Digital Regulation Cooperation Forum (DRCF) – an initiative between the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), Ofcom and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) – has submitted its response to the Department of Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) on the future of the digital regulatory landscape and how to achieve coherence in regulatory approaches across digital services.

The DRFC’s document highlights the importance of supporting appropriate information sharing between digital regulators and proposes to embed the aims of cooperation into the statutory framework for digital services.
