MediaLaws is pleased to share the Call for Papers for the EuCML Award for the Best Paper on Consumer and Market Law, focusing on the theme of “Fairness in Consumer and Market Law”.
The Award aims to recognise outstanding contributions to Consumer and Market Law and encourage the development of innovative ideas in the field. Submissions may address any pressing issue in Consumer and Market Law, with a particular focus on fairness. Applications are welcome from scholars regardless of their level of academic experience.
Interested authors are invited to submit a paper of up to 10,000 words by 30 April 2027, by email to eucmlaward@gmail.com, in accordance with the EuCML Submission Guidelines.
Following a double-blind peer-review process, the EuCML Editors will select the four best papers for presentation and discussion at the in-person EuCML Annual Conference, scheduled to take place in autumn 2027. Each selected paper will be assigned two discussants, who will be leading scholars in Consumer and Market Law. The Jury, composed of all keynote speakers, chairs and discussants, will select the winner of the Award.
The four papers presented at the conference will be published in Issue 6/2027 of EuCML, with the winning paper receiving a Special Mention. In addition, the author of the winning paper will receive a €1,000 voucher for books from the C.H. Beck, Hart and Nomos series.
