MediLaws is pleased to share the program of “The Role of National Human Rights Institutions in Promoting Rights and Preventing Rights-Related Litigation and Conflicts” taking place on 8–9 September 2025 at Bocconi University (Room AS01, Via Röntgen 1, Milan).

Organized within the framework of the MUR-PRIN 2022 research project FRAME – Framing National Human Rights Institutions: European and Comparative Interplays, the event brings together distinguished scholars, judges, and policymakers to explore the evolving role of NHRIs in the protection of fundamental rights across Europe and beyond.

Michael O’Flaherty, Commissioner for Human Rights, Council of Europe

András Jakab, Judge at the European Court of Human Rights
